Salty Paws is an extension of All 4 Paws, an award-winning grooming salon in Rhode Island founded by Mary Kathryn Kent in 2019. With multiple locations throughout Rhode Island, All 4 Paws has become known for professional, compassionate, and high-quality grooming care. (Learn more at www.all4pawsri.com)
In 2023, Mary purchased the Salty Paws mobile grooming van on Block Island. Having a deep personal connection to Block Island since childhood, she chose to keep the van on the island and commute there to serve local residents as the only dog groomer on Block Island.
During the winter months, while bringing the van off-island, Mary began building a mobile grooming clientele throughout South County and Providence County. Since then, Salty Paws has grown to include multiple mobile grooming vans, allowing the team to serve both Block Island and mainland Rhode Island year-round.

She specializes in high-anxiety and fear-aggressive dogs and is currently pursuing her IPG Master Groomer and NCGI Feline Master Groomer certifications.to continue raising the bar for standards, education, and care across her salons.

An incredibly versatile groomer, Gen can handle just about any coat type, but truly shines when working with doodles and poodles. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure every pet leaves looking and feeling their best.

Meg has been grooming for over 10 years. She is our large dog go- to groomer. She loves doodles, German shepherds, huskies and anything that sheds! However, she is exceptionally skilled with grooming yorkies and schnauzers. Meg has been working in our Johnston location for over 4 years and has now joined our mobile team on Sundays and Mondays.
